The practice of planning, organizing, staffing and controlling are come under the subject of Management. With these management activities aim to transform the resources into utility. The responsibility of achieving this aim lies with the managers and directors of the company. Managers are responsible to the stakeholders for the results in terms of profits and growth in a company.
The size of management in any company can start from one manager in small firms and can extend up to hundreds in big multinational companies. As a company grows in size, the split between the managers and the owners become more common. Companies generally have different branches of management as:
